Porsche at Aerotropolis

In May 2011 Porsche Cars North America announced the plan to develop a new North American headquarters facility at the site known as Aerotropolis Atlanta, owned by Jacoby and adjacent to the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International airport. The development of the new headquarters is estimated to result in a $100 million dollar investment that will eventually employ 400 in the Atlanta area. Jacoby and Porsche, in collaboration, have designed the new 26-acre campus that will include a 150,000-square-foot office tower. The site will include the Porsche Cars North America headquarters, Porsche Technical Training Center, and the Porsche Customer and Driving Experience Center, featuring a 1.6-mile test track and handling circuit.

On November 27th 2012 Porsche broke ground on the new facility; operations are anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2014.
